My Bio

I have been a clinical psychologist for over 25 years.
I earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia in 2000. After completing pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internships at West Central Services through Dartmouth College, I worked at Dartmouth College’s Counseling and Human Development Office for about seven years. In addition to seeing students, I also co-chaired the Eating Disorders Treatment Team, presented at conferences, and did outreach to the larger Dartmouth community.
Since leaving Dartmouth College in 2008, I have been working in private practice. For many years, I supervised pre-doctoral and postdoctoral psychology interns.
In 2024, I started intensive training at The Couples Institute, where thousands of therapists from over 75 countries learn online, both synchronously and asynchronously. In 2025, I was asked if I wanted to join their Mentor Training Program, reserved for about thirty individuals in the institute. What an honor! I did want to join! Since then, I've been engaging on a regular basis with this talented, diverse, small group of therapists led by pioneers in the field, Drs. Ellyn Bader and Peter Pearson.
I live in Thetford, VT with my husband. We love it when our two adult sons visit us.
