My Bio
I earned a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Virginia in 2000. After I completed my pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internships at West Central Services through Dartmouth College, I worked at Dartmouth College’s Counseling and Human Development Office for about seven years. In addition to seeing students, I also co-chaired the Eating Disorders Treatment Team, presented at conferences, and did outreach to the larger Dartmouth community. For many years, I supervised pre-doctoral and post-doctoral psychology interns. Since leaving Dartmouth in 2008, I have been in full-time private practice in downtown Hanover, NH.
In the beginning of my career, I saw mostly adolescents, both individually and in families. I continue to enjoy this work; meeting with teenagers and young adults does not get old! The older I get, though, the more couples and older people reach out to me for help. People sometimes gravitate towards a more seasoned therapist to help navigate a crisis or life challenge.
I am licensed in New Hampshire and Vermont. I am a member of the New Hampshire Psychological Association, the Vermont Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association.
